Should you join Rated M Clan?

Answering that question starts by telling you what we are about. The Rated M Clan is about having fun and avoiding all of the things that make XBox Live a drag. The one thing we we do insist upon is that you be at least 25 years old. There are rare blood exceptions but again they are rare.

 XBox Live Downer List:

• Annoying Kids
• Trash Talking Idiots
• Racists
• Unsporting Gamers ie: spawn campers
• Intolerant Hardcore Gamers

Yes, Whitney Houston believed that children are our future but on XBL they can be a royal pain in the ass. This obviously does not apply to all kids but the ones we are talking about usually come with a few items off of the XBL Downer List and they just kill any chance of having a good time on any multi-player game. Of course the rest of the list is equally bad and if you have run across those types you know what a buzzkill they can be.

• Damn Fun
• Cool People
• Game Longevity
• Community
• Friendly Competition

This gets down to what Rated M is all about. We are just a bunch of regular people (some older than others!) who just want to have fun and avoid the trolls. We believe in being tolerant and helping each other out while having fun in the process. We come from all over the US and Europe and we come from all walks of life. We like friendly competition and not so friendly competition if you choose to join one of our competitive teams. Every so often we will have clan matches that are slightly random and on a level playing field to give away some XBL Points or similar item. We currently have an unbelievable group and if this sound like your cup of tea than you are sure to fit right in. To avoid confusion it is "The Rated M Clan" and you may want to look closely at the next list.

Rated M "Things we do list": 

• Drink
• Smoke
• Occasionally Swear (Maybe Frequently)

As mentioned before we are people and some of us are married and for them the "Things we do list" is more the rule than the exception. Needless to say if you are offended by any of those things you should probably pass and look elsewhere for a clan. Which leads us to the next list.

Rated M "Things we don't do list": 

• Judge each other
• Preach
• Recruit for sales schemes, cults or Amway (is that redundant?)

This is about having fun and playing video games. We are not trying to change the world or other people. So be respectful of everyone and treat them how you want to be treated and we will all have a good time.

Should you join?

That is up to you but if you do please follow the following (?!) steps:

1. Read notes after this list
2. Register for the website
3. Post a small "Hello" in the forums
4. Visit the "Members" list (tab is located on main website navigation) and look for [rMc]'ers who play the same games and start sending our Friend invites.

On the multiplayer games there are two things that go hand in hand that are worth mentioning here.

1. We have a high tendency to play together.
2. When MP try to play w/ your clanmates.
