Battlefield: Bad Company is a Singleplayer/Multiplayer Shooter. The single player story follows You, as the latest member of B Company of Bad company on it\'s quest for enemy gold. The story is good,the cut scenes entertaining and the game-play is \"ok\". Your team is a squad of 3 other character that you do not control. that, and the enemy A.I. are probably the only draw-backs of the game. the A.I is pretty slow and stupid as it\'s posible to be beside an enemy and he continues to fire forward completety un-aware of your presense. I have also had enemies and squad mates standing on front of each other without firing a shot. Big objectives like tanks are up to you to figure out how to take out, even tho one of your guys carries a bazzooka.
The multi-player takes a litle getting used to (especially after COD4). Initially there was only 1 game mode, Gold Rush where you either attacked or deffended crates of gold. Conquest has since been added and is esentially Capture the flag. there\'s tons of awards and patches to shoot for and your game-score depends on you playing your charater class effectively.
