Cracked disc
I thought my 360 was acting up last night now i realize my MW2 disc has a hairline crack in the center of it that is the trouble. anyone have any expierience getting a game disc replaced? im sure it's out if gamestop warranty but anyone know of another route to take? thanx.

Yeah i tried that angel but my BB puts a coded sticker on the disc that's tough to remove. I traded it away for 2 seasons of 24 so it's all good,

I know you posted this months ago but, rent the game at Blockbuster, then when you get home call them and tell them the game isn't working. Swap games and return yours to them. Problem solved.

I'v had the hairline cracks in three disks all of the happened to be CoD games MW, MW2 (thanks god I installed) and WaW. I'm not sure if it's the cases that cause the damage or the extensive play that causes it but I'm thinking a little bit both.
Best way to remedy this is to buy a used copy from Gamestop and return it with the cracked disk. When asked if you would like it replaced say no I bought it new elsewhere.

I'm a big believer in Karma. I'll call IW or Activision. after a little research the problem has happened to others and it's from the new packaging they use. the disc fits very tighttly in the holder and if your aren't carful ti begins to wear in the middle. So far it's been playing ok but if IW or activsion won't step up that's the last game from them i'll pay for.

IW is going to tell you to pound sand. Go to a Gamestop(not your local one) and trade it in. Hopefully
the kid behind the counter won't notice the crack. I know its wrong but that is really your only option.
Gamestop warrentys all used purchases so the person who buys your game isn't going to get screwed. I did it with my Fall Out 3 disc. It had a crack in the disc as well. IW is going to tell you that you probobly cracked the disc on your own and there is nothing you can do.

I don't know, i called gamestop but it's out of warranty, they said to try IW so givin them a call.
